Teresa Dias works with children, families, and adults using expressive therapies including art, sand, and drama therapy. She has clinical experience treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and bipolar disorder, and specializes in attachment theory and healthy parent-child attachment.
Her therapeutic approach is "client centered, creative, and informed by attachment and trauma theories," drawing on play, art, sandtray, and mindfulness to support teens and adults working through anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Teresa also maintains a private practice (Diastherapy) and works part-time as a telehealth provider for the Gil Institute for Trauma Recovery and Education in Virginia. She resides in Boston with her family and performs with True Story Theater, a Playback theater company.
